The joint award ceremony of the 26th Little Giant Award, the 22nd New Entrepreneurship Award and the 30th Taiwan SMEs Innovation Award sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs was held on November 22 in Room 201 of the International Conference Center of National Taiwan University Hospital. This year (112), 12 outstanding export companies were selected for the Little Giant Award, 20 new start-up companies won the New Startup Award, and 22 innovative targets won the Innovation Research Award. 54 outstanding award-winning companies were personally visited by Minister Wang Meihua of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Congratulations on the award and share the joy and glory of winning the award with the guests.

Minister Wang said that small and medium-sized enterprises play a very important role in Taiwan's supply chain. Each specializes in their areas of expertise and forms interdependent partners. Many major international companies are also quite positive about Taiwan's innovative technologies, but in recent years, carbon reduction and circular economy issues have put pressure on small and medium-sized enterprises. Minister Wang encouraged the small and medium-sized enterprises present here to not only continue to invest in innovative research and development, but also to respond to the trend of net-zero carbon reduction and grasp the international situation and development opportunities.
